QT embed code: http://www.sandaigprimary.co.uk/weemovies/

More recently I've experimented with edublogs.tv which allows you to upload video and provides embed codes for example Primary 2 Sandaig Tour

I've also tested vimeo and blip.tv both produce nice flash players. You can see examples on my Embed Tests page. I am leaning towards blip as a solution as you can upload m4v files and blip will give you an iTunes friendly rss feed that will play video on an iPod, quick video podcasting.

The report, published jointly by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, and the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA), was a loud, disruptive clarion call to schools to move purposefully toward the use of technology to develop 21st century skills.

a monster calculator – calculus equations – tied to hundreds of data bases

You can type in a complex or simple Math equation or type in a question or phrase like: May 15, 1964 and you will get information on the events of that day, or, type: What is the average life span of those is Afghanistan  - it breaks down your ordinary question into parts and answers just about everything – very cool – click on "examples" and it will link you to a list of data basis that this is linked to.
