Might Math to Carnival Countdown -
Start with the Saloon (it is up in the right corner). Level A, B, and C are good working with shapes and patterns.
Next, go to the Carnival Cars it is in the bottom left of the screen. Level A through D are good working with sorting.
If time allows there are 3 other areas to work with the pink tuba area. Level B is good as well as the red and white tent with level A.
The purple in the middle for level a and b work with more and less.

Go to the K-3 folder.
Then double click on "Trudy's Time & Place" with the Alligator
Click on the Clocks on the table next to Trudy the Alligator
1) First, have the kids just get familiar with the clocks. Do this for maybe 5 minutes.
2) Then have them stay on this game and click on the picture frame at the top of the screen. This will give them an activity to match the clocks as well. A few times the numbers fall off of "Analog Ann" so we have to put them back on...this game is REALLY cute!
When you feel they have had enough....click on the Alligator in the bottom left hand corner to go back to the main screen.
3) Click on the jelly bean game. This is good for our directional words with the ant. We played this last year...lots of fun making the ant get the jelly beans.

This is a sight word memory game to help us with our sight words. Once they get all the matches, have them press "restart" to mix up the words. If you want, they can push a red arrow and go on to another game with more sight words. :) I wouldn't go past game 4....(you could really stretch this game out) unless there is a kiddo you need to challenge.
Click on Beginning Sounds picture match. Students will need to type their name and then click on "random" and then "begin" When they finished, tell them to click on the bottom box "start over".
3. Stay on the website for 2 but click on short vowel sounds. Kids will need to listen to the beginning sound next.

Under Student's Corner - Kindergarten:
1) In the green section, close to the bottom there is a link title "Type in the Missing Letter"
The students click with their mouse inside the empty box and then type the letter that goes there. Thought this would be fun since it is Z week. They can click 'next game' to do a different chart with different missing letters.
Math Zoo Zillions (K-3 folder). Don't forget to set the level to Level A. The train is using a number line for addition and the Gnu Ewe works with money. Level's A through C are really good D gets too hard.
|
WH, SH, TH, CH
First on this have the kids click on each sh, wh, th and ch and listen to the story and do the activities for each blend.
Then, go back to the main starfall page and next to #5 there are some yellow stars and it says "short vowels" - this is a short vowel matching game.
Next....go back to the main startfall page and on the left you will see some shapes and a ruler...click here.
Do the 3D shape one first....then if time do the pattern one. The time one goes to the half hour.
