I wanted to share a PBS website that I use frequently. PBIS World is a super, fantastic resource when trying to find behavior interventions for students, especially when gathering data for SIT. It is a great resource for students with excessive late work, inattention, low effort, disrespect, etc.

Here's how it works...
First, you choose the problem behavior from a long list.
Then, it lists common observations of typical students with the behavior. You click YES that describes this student or NO that doesn't describe this student. Once you click YES, it then asks you if you need TIER 1 or TIER 2 interventions.
It provides a long list of interventions and even provides data collection tools.
Some of the interventions are obvious, like proximity, or positive interactions, but those ARE interventions that can be documented and used during SIT meetings. The hope, of course, is that you find something that works, so the student doesn't need to go to SIT.
